Joyful Gifts Christmas in July toy drive will be held on July 20, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm at the Wal-Mart in Manteca, CA. All items will be donated to Valley Children’s Hospital.

Kat Country 103 will be on-site from 11 am to 1 pm with the “Kat Karnival” which includes prizes, music, banners & lots of fun! We look forward to seeing you there.

We thank you for taking the time to consider donating. Whether it be time, toys, video games, arts and crafts supplies or more unique items, all items contribute to the monumental and transformative aspects of the work we do.

The Child Life department embraces our commitments by helping children understand and cope with hospitalization. The continuous support we receive from donors and surrounding communities is immensely instrumental to the impact made on the lives of our patients.

Important reminder

In order to keep our patients safe, only new items coming from a smoke and pet free environment can be accepted. Additionally, Items previously stored will not be accepted.

Child Life Services – Wish List

Infants/Toddlers (0-5 years of age): Board books for babies, rattles, swaddles, baby blankets, infant/toddler toys, light-up and musical toys, teethers, plush toys, light/sound/pop up toys, etc.

School Age (5-12 years of age): Hot wheels, fidget toys, Lego and Duplo sets, multicultural baby dolls and Barbies, action figures, plastic animals and dinosaurs, puzzles under 100 pieces, board games, UNO and/or similar games, playing cards, magic sets, arts and crafts supplies, coloring books, Play-Doh, individual sized bubbles, stuffed animals, blankets, etc.

Adolescents (12 years and older): Toiletries, lotions, nail wraps/stickers, nail polish and nail polish remover, art materials, activity books, puzzle books, gift cards, fuzzy/slipper socks and pajamas, large blankets, brand new books and magazines, videogames, headphones and/or ear buds, phone accessories/chargers, etc.

Classroom/Playroom (all ages): Children’s books, music therapy supplies, arts and crafts, Elmer’s liquid glue gallons, construction paper, cardstock, acrylic paint, etc.
